Municipal property taxes are due the first business day after Canada Day in all BC Municipalities.

Pay by July 4, 2023 to avoid a 10% penalty that is levied on any taxes owing on July 5, 2023 (including unclaimed Home Owner Grant).

Claim your Home Owner Grant online

The Home Owner Grant is designed to help reduce the amount of residential property tax homeowners are required to pay. It is administered by the Home Owner Grant Administration Branch of the BC Ministry of Finance. All home owner grant applications must now be submitted directly to the B.C. provincial government through a secure online application.
