How to Pay a Bylaw Ticket

Pay in Person at City Hall

Bring your ticket to the front counter of Colwood City Hall at 3300 Wishart Road.

Pay over the Phone with Visa or Mastercard

Telephone 250-478-5999 and have your ticket number ready.

Pay by mail

Mail your cheque or money order to City of Colwood, 3300 Wishart Road, Victoria BC, V9C 1R1.

Please include your ticket number on the cheque or money order.

Bylaw Notices that are not paid

Failure to pay a Bylaw ticket will result in collection action. Please note, this can impact your credit rating

Bylaw Services staff are here to help. They work to protect the safety and quality of life of residents by receiving and investigating complaints, monitoring issues and working with individuals to encourage voluntary compliance through education and mediation. Bylaw Services staff may issue municipal tickets and fines as described in the Municipal Ticket Information Bylaw No. 1314, 2010.

Bylaw staff provide an important presence in our community and work in close partnership with the Colwood Fire Department and Westshore RCMP. They are part of Colwood's CIty Watch program which trains all City staff who work out in the community to know what types of suspicious activity to watch for, as well as how to record observations and report incidents.
