In 2020, the City will be upgrading Veterans Memorial Parkway and Allandale Road adjacent to the new Allandale District development.

Improvements will be made along the frontage on Veterans Memorial Parkway, and Allandale Road will be extended a portion of the way into the area of new development. This work will not connect Allandale Road through to the Wishart Road side.

Plans include road construction, sidewalks, bike lanes, lighting and landscaped islands, as well as installation of underground utilities.
