The WestShore Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Municipal Election Event for Colwood

Tuesday, November 4th at Colwood Pentecostal Church, 2250 Sooke Road from 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. 

Colwood voters are encouraged to attend. All candidates for Colwood Mayor and Council are invited. (Check out Candidate Profiles.)

If you would like to submit a question please email the WestShore Chamber of Commerce and they will do their best to address the issue at the event. 

Format for the Event

There will not be questions from the floor at the event because of the large number of candidates and tight timeframes. 

Following candidate intros, each candidate will have two questions posed to them and two minutes to answer the questions from the moderator.  We will be enforcing the time limits on intros and answers.  We will start with Mayoral candidates and then move on to candidates running for Council. 

For each candidate:

• 2:00 minutes for each candidate intro
• Question 1 from moderator (2 minute answer max)
• Question 2 from moderator (2 minute answer max)
