Traffic delays are expected

Exciting improvements are happening in Colwood that are expected to impact travel times. If possible, you may wish to travel outside of peak hours or choose an alternate route.

When: Saturday and Sunday, November 20 and 21, 2021 between 7am and 7pm

Where: Metchosin Road beyond Latoria Boulevard 

What: Paving works - Fine grinding, aggregate and asphalt paving 

Allow for a few extra minutes when travelling along Metchosin Road just past Latoria Boulevard.

Single lane traffic and Emergency Access will be maintained at all times throughout the project but may require single lane alternating traffic for very short periods of time and may impact travel times.

Traffic personnel will be onsite to direct traffic. Please follow their directions, obey traffic signs and use extra caution.

What about the intersection upgrade?

GableCraft Homes has scheduled the construction of a traffic light and intersection upgrades at Metchosin Road and Latoria Boulevard for the first part of 2022.
