Ocean View Park - Invasive Species Removal

Image

Help care for Ocean View Park by joining the Friends of Colwood Parks volunteer work party on Sunday, November 8 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Participants will help remove invasive species, including blackberry, ivy, holly, and daphne.

There's two options for this work party: Tackle the nasty blackberries choking the native trees or doing some easier daphne and Ivy removal. You'll decide which team you want to join and Friends of Colwood Parks will provide the tools, training and treats.
