What: Traffic delays during Ryder Hesjedal's Tour de Victoria race
Please be advised that on Saturday, Aug. 15, 2026, the approximately 2,000 cyclists will be participating in the 15th annual Ryder Hesjedal's Tour de Victoria across Greater Victoria, temporarily impacting traffic in Colwood on Island Highway, Ocean Boulevard, Lagoon Road, and Metchosin Road.
Traffic will be delayed while the race is in session between the hours of 7:15 and 8:00 a.m.
Two-way traffic will be allowed, but expect delays at intersections while cyclists pass. Traffic control will be present.
