When:  August 17, 2026 until the end of December 2026
Where:  Ocean Blvd, Fort Rodd Hill
What:  Construction of a crosswalk and changes to driveway entrance

Please be advised that starting Aug. 17, 2026, work will be taking place on Ocean Blvd. through to the end of December 2026 in two locations:

  • Fort Rodd Hill main entrance roadway
  • At the new crosswalk location on Ocean Blvd., approximately 300 meters south of the Fort Rodd Hill main entrance

During construction Ocean Blvd will be open to traffic through single-lane alternating traffic (SLAT) controlled by portable traffic signals and traffic control personnel.

Traffic will be monitored to ensure no traffic waits more than 10 minutes. The use of alternative routes is recommended to avoid delays when travelling in this area.

Emergency vehicles will have the right-of-way at all times.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this important infrastructure upgrade.
