By popular request, Friends of Colwood Parks will be returning to Ocean View Park to manage the Ivy, Daphne, Blackberries and Holly in the park. Join your fellow neighbours to make a positive impact in our community as we work together to remove invasive species along one of Colwood's beautiful parks.
If this is your first time doing invasive species removal, this is a great park with easy access and lots of different opportunities for all ages and abilities. No experience required and all ages are welcome! This is a great outing for the family.
If this is your first volunteer event with Friends of Colwood Parks, we will assist you onsite to sign up with the City of Colwood volunteer program.
🛠️ Bring: Sturdy shoes, water bottle, gloves, weather-appropriate, comfortable clothing and safety glasses if you have them.
