What: BC Hydro Underground Duct Bank Construction
Motorists may experience brief delays when travelling on Metchosin Road between Kelly Road and Donovan Avenue.
Installation of a BC Hydro underground duct bank will begin on June 15 and is expected to continue for approximately five days, weather and construction conditions permitting. Work will generally take place between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.
During construction hours, Metchosin Road will be closed to through traffic in the work zone. Detour route to Pickford Road will be in place—please follow posted signage.
Traffic control personnel will be on site to safely direct pedestrians, cyclists and motorists and minimize disruptions. Emergency vehicles will be provided with immediate and priority access through the area at all times.
