What: Rock scaling, bolting, and meshing works to protect the public from rockfall in the event of an earthquake.
Please be advised of the traffic pattern changes and closures for rock scaling, bolting, and meshing works to protect the public from rockfall in the event of an earthquake.
- One-lane closure will take place between the driveway located on 452 Pelican Drive to the the walking path adjacent to 411 Pelican Drive.
- Closure of Pelican Drive South access will take place at the walking path.
- “Local Traffic Only” will be in effect at the intersection of Briarwood Lane and Pelican Drive, and at the intersection of Propellor and Pelican Drive.
- The speed limit will be established at 30km/hr along the construction worksite.
- All residents located on Pelican Drive, between Propellor and Briarwood, will be made aware of the traffic control and road closure in place.
This traffic control plan allows for complete access to local traffic and residents. Traffic control signs will stay in place for the entire duration of the work, due to potential debris and material staging in the work area. Please obey traffic signs, reduce speed, and use caution.
All emergency vehicles will receive immediate and priority access through the area.
