When: Daily between 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Where: Metchosin Road (north of Latoria Blvd/Beachlands Blvd.)
What: Sidewalk construction on east side of Metchosin Road
Sidewalk construction and pouring will be occurring along the east side of Metchosin Road, north of Latoria Blvd./ Beachlands Blvd.
The bus stop along the construction area will be closed for the duration of the works, and a temporary bus stop will be provided closer to the intersection as shown (see map below).
Two-way traffic will be maintained but delays are anticipated. The northbound vehicle lane will be detoured around the work zone, with partial closure of the southbound left turn lane onto Beachlands Blvd.
Traffic control signage and personnel will be on-site. Please reduce speeds and follow directions and the posted signage. Avoid the area if you can by using an alternate route.
Access to all properties in the area, as well as beach access, will be maintained throughout construction. Emergency vehicle access will be maintained at all times.
