The Painter Trail is scheduled to be closed on Tuesday, August 5th between 8am and 5pm to ensure safety during required tree maintenance.

The Painter Trail connects Painter Road to Ryder Hesjedal Way. It provides a safe and accessible active transportation route for all users, and is an important connection for students attending Royal Bay Secondary and Dunsmuir Middle Schools as well as people heading to Meadow Park, Royal Bay Commons and beyond to The Beachlands.
There is a network of trails to enjoy from the Painter Trail head at the corner of Painter and Dressler Roads. The Applegate Trail to the right connects to Wishart Road and loops back into Murrays Pond Park. And the North Ridge Trail on the left runs up to Metchosin Road.
