Thank you for your patience during ongoing improvements to Latoria Boulevard.
Work is still underway to complete the activation of the traffic signal and finalize road markings, parking, lighting, and landscaping, with full completion expected before the end of 2026.
In the meantime, students and neighbours are able to enjoy the new sidewalk and cycling route which provide a safe and comfortable connection between Veterans Memorial Parkway and the Beachlands, with access to multiple parks, the high school, and shops and services along the way.
By coordinating this project with upgrades required through development, the City is advancing its priority of investing in infrastructure through a collaborative approach that reduces costs, makes effective use of project management resources, and delivers lasting benefits for the community.
