Improvements are happening in Colwood that are expected to impact travel times. If possible, you may wish to travel outside of peak hours or choose an alternate route.

What: Fortis BC Gas Main Extension Works
Fortis BC will be doing Gas main extension works along Veterans Memorial Parkway between Allandale Road and Sooke Road from Tuesday March 29th to Monday April 4th, 2022. Work will take place weekdays from 7:30am to 4:30pm.
Single lane traffic will be maintained along the Northbound left lane of Veterans Memorial Parkway, with minor impact to travel times.
The northbound bike lane will need to be closed but cyclists will be given option to flow with traffic or dismount and proceed as pedestrians. Pedestrians will be assisted by on-site traffic control personnel. Emergency vehicle access will be maintained at all times.
Traffic personnel will be onsite to direct traffic. Please follow their directions, obey traffic signs, and use caution.
