Improvements are happening in Colwood that are expected to impact travel times. If possible, you may wish to travel outside of peak hours or choose an alternate route. 

When: Wednesday, June 8, 2022, to Friday, June 17, 2022; daily between 7:00am - 5:00pm

Where: Veterans Memorial Parkway (south of Kelly Rd), Donovan Ave, Metchosin Rd & Sooke Rd

What: BC Hydro – Cable Pull

BC Hydro will be pulling cables through their new hydro duct bank starting in Langford from Kelly Road and\
proceeding into Colwood down and across Veterans Memorial Parkway, to Donovan Avenue, Metchosin Road and
Sooke Road.

Traffic may be reduced to single lanes in both directions on Veterans Memorial Parkway for short periods of time
during the cable works.

Traffic Control Personnel will be on site. Delays are to be expected. Motorists, cyclist and pedestrians please be
aware and follow all signs and Traffic Control Personnel instructions.
