With your help, the City is creating the Latoria Creek Park Management Plan and updating the Havenwood Park Management Plan. These plans will guide decision-making and amenity upgrades for park trails, connectivity, environmental conservation, park maintenance and more over the next 10 years.

An Early Idea Map and List has been created based on community feedback received during the 2021 Parks & Recreation Master Plan along with early input from stakeholders, discussion with City staff, and analysis of the opportunities and challenges within each park. These early ideas will be refined with your input and further analysis. 

We are currently in Phase 2 of the project time line. Public engagement is open until September 5, 2022. Feedback will then be reviewed and a draft plan developed for Fall 2022. Visit LetsTalkColwood.ca/OurParks and subscribe to receive project updates as the Park Management Plans progress.

• Complete a Questionnaire
  There is a seperate questionnaire for Havenwood Park and Latoria Creek Park. Each questionnaire should take 5-10 minutes to complete and will ask you to review the early ideas and share your feedback. Complete the questionnaires online at LetsTalkColwood.ca/OurParks or pick one up in person at City Hall. 
• Attend a Pop-Up
  Our next in person pop-up will take place during Music in the Park at Meadow Park Green on Friday, August 26 from 6:00-8:00pm. Drop by to view the early ideas list for each park, chat with project team members about your thoughts and ideas, and pick up a paper copy of the questionnaires.
