Ecole Royal Bay Secondary’s Black Wing Theatre presents:

    The Pajama Game

The Pajama Game is a story of romance, ethics, and the fight for a 7 ½ cent raise that is long overdue. Based on the novel 7 ½ Cents, the story of The Pajama Game follows Babe, a strong and determined woman who works at a pajama factory and heads up her Union Grievance Committee. While she leads the charge to demand a raise from her boss, she also falls in love with her superintendent, and trouble at work equals trouble in paradise. Will she choose love or loyalty?

First performed in 1954, The Pajama Game won a Tony for Best Musical and later became a hit film starring Doris Day. In 2006 it was revived, starring Kelli O’Hara and Harry Connick Jr. With popular songs like Hey There and The Once Was A Man, this musical will stay with you long after the closing number.
