A total of 466 residents took advantage of the first voting date for the municipal general election on Wednesday, October 5th (plus 20 little ones in the Colwood Kids Vote!)

The next advance voting date is Wednesday, October 12, followed by general election day on October 15.

Please take a moment to vote for the Mayor and six Council members who will make decisions about your community for the next four years.

Colwood Kids Vote

Kids, come and vote for the park improvement you'd most like to see... and bring your parents out to vote on voting day! Saturday October 15, 2022 from 8:00am to 8:00pm at Colwood City Hall, 3300 Wishart Road.

We're encouraging kids to vote as a way to learn a bit about how local government works and get involved in their community. 

Kids will vote for either a new spray toy at Colwood Creek Park splash pad or a nature play area with logs to climb and jump on at Ocean View Park. Both of these improvements are envisioned in Colwood's new Parks & Recreation Master Plan. 

The feature with the most votes will be the first improvement to be implemented!
