Colwood Heritage Commission - Accepting Expression of Interest

The City of Colwood is accepting expressions of interest for up to eight (8) members of community to serve on the Heritage Commission. 

The Commission helps conserve Colwood’s local heritage, enhance our City’s identity and promotes sharing of knowledge.

The Commission will work to build key heritage resources and promote awareness of heritage buildings and landscapes in our community, provide advice to council on heritage matters, undertake and support heritage activities including fundraising and ensure the development of a management plan.

Appointments to the Heritage Commission will have a minimum term of one year with meetings scheduled at the call of the Chair.  A Chair and Vice Chair will be elected by the Commission at it's first meeting.
