Join the City's Prosperity Roundtable event to talk about how we can attract and support the success of businesses that benefit our community.

As part of Colwood's Economic Recovery Program, the City plans to implement a Business Retention, Expansion and Attraction program, and we encourage members of our business and development community to join us for a Prosperity Roundtable discussion on ways the City can help grow its business and development sectors.

Are you hoping to expand your business? We would like to hear your perspective on how the City could help.

The meeting is scheduled for:
Tuesday, March 30th, 2021 from 12 noon to 1:30 p.m.

The roundtable meeting will be led by two speakers and the chair:

  • Dale Wheeldon, President and CEO, British Columbia Economic Development Association – Dale will be presenting on Business Retention and Expansion programs and how municipalities like Colwood can support businesses expansion.

  • Len Wansbrough, President at Metropolitan Hospitality Management – Len will be speaking on ways his company was able to work with the City to reinvest in Colwood.

  • Councillor Doug Kobayashi will be chairing the online Zoom meeting and representatives from all City departments will be in attendance to take your input and answer questions.

The first 20 attendees will receive a $15 gift certificate to 328 Taphouse, located at 328 Wale Road (250-940-1870).

Space is limited, please contact Nora Brooks at nbrooks@colwood.ca for more information.
