Do you want to learn more about lawn bowling or have you been looking for a new activity to try?

The Juan de Fuca Lawn Bowling Club is hosting two open houses in the coming weeks. The first takes place this Saturday and Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m. and the second is the following weekend on April 21 and 22, also from 1 to 3 p.m.

Celebrating more than 20 years, this friendly association spends plenty of social time together on and off the greens and they’re looking to attract some new members to the fold.

The club is also hosting the Canadian National Bowling Championship this year on Aug. 14 to 19, so get ready to cheer on your local competitors.

The club is located behind The Q Centre on the lower level of the West Shore Parks and Recreation site in Colwood.
