Great news! Royal Bay has an AWESOME outdoor activity funded through the Victoria Foundation, Neighbourhood Small Grants program.

It's a free walking geocache event for the whole family - a treasure hunt where you have to solve a riddle with the clues you find at each location. Solve the riddle, and submit your answer for a chance to win  prizes and $20, $25 or $50 Gift Certificates from great local businesses:

• Sequoia Coastal Coffee
• Latoria Red Barn Market
• and Royal Bay Bakery

The event lasts several days to allow for multiple opportunities to finish the game with your family. Within the app, you can obtain clues and help others through submitting comments for each geocache you find. But please please please don't give away the answers! Geocache etiquette please!
