Share your thoughts about improvements to Kelly Road

Drop by Herm Williams Park on Thursday, August 7th between 4 and 7pm to talk about plans for improvements to Kelly Road.

Refreshments will be served at this casual community gathering where you can learn more about the project and talk about plans with City staff. Community input will help to shape the final project design.

Preliminary plans

The Kelly Road Improvement Project outlines plans for new sidewalks, buffered bike lanes, transit improvements, boulevards and landscaping that will make it easier and more enjoyable to walk, cycle and use transit in this central area of the City. Sewer line installation is also being considered, because it makes sense to do that while the road is under construction. The project also includes the creation of a Metchosin Greenway that will make it safe and enjoyable to walk or cycle from the Galloping Goose trail, along Adye Road and across Kelly to Metchosin Road.
