As Covid restrictions finally begin to ease, it’s a great time to safely get together with neighbours and establish those personal connections that make neighbourhoods the building blocks of our community.
To help with this, Colwood has launched a new neighbourhood connectedness program: Good Neighbour.
The Good Neighbour program is a resident-led effort to help neighbours connect and support one another. Neighbourly connections help build trust, create a sense of connectedness and responsibility, and cultivate a sense of home, of safety, and security.
Good Neighbour encourages residents to get to know each other, largely through activities organized by a Good Neighbour Leader -- this could be you!
The City is hosting an online Zoom presentation (Click here to join) on Wednesday July 14th at 7:00pm to provide more information on how to get you started, including some examples of activities you can do with your own neighbours.
