The City of Colwood is one of 517 municipalities in Canada, and over 2,000 worldwide, to have declared a climate emergency. This declaration signifies that now, more than ever before, our community needs to take bold measures that appropriately address the climate crisis.

The Low Carbon Resilience plan will determine how to adapt to projected climate impacts and rapidly reduce greenhouse gas emissions in a way that is relevant and effective for our city. Specific ways we can rethink and transform how we heat and cool our buildings, how we get around, and how we dispose of our waste will be outlined in the Low Carbon Resilience plan.

We need your input to help shape this plan. Visit LetsTalkColwood.ca/LowCarbon to learn more about the plan and complete the second public survey now!
